"Kedai Mamak, Yang paling lama di Kampung Gajah..Bangunan yang dijadikan kedai tersebut adalah Bangunan yang paling awal dibangunankan di kampung gajah. Pada tahun sekitar 90an Bot dan sampan masih digunakan sebagai pengangkutan utama di sungai perak..(sampan tambang) Salah satu nya terletak berdekatan kedai tersebut (taman semarak) yang menjadi pusat tumpuan penduduk."

"Because there are two food outlet using "Karim" name, I took liberty to call this one as "Karim Tengah Pekan" to help differentiate it from another entities that goes by the name "Karim Tepi Sungai". They both becomes a gem to this historic land, and hold a special place in the heart of many locals. This cornered shoplot known by its official name "Restoran Nasi Kandar Haji Karim" serves great breakfast. Be it roti canai, roti telor and so many more, I've become addicted. Apart from breakfast, they also sells lunch to its customer. Well priced, a breakfast as seen in the photo never exceeds RM5. I think they're immune to the rising living cost, since the price hasn't change for a decade. Keep the good work bro !!"
